Built right. Managed to perform.

A function that performs.
Not another team to manage.

Kordant builds and runs offshore business functions. US-led and accountable for the outcome. You get capacity that performs to your metrics.

Most offshore outsourcing creates a second job.

Annual BPO attrition, onshore and offshore. Location isn't the problem. Who owns fixing it?
BPO industry benchmarks, SQM Group

You went offshore to cut cost and add capacity. What came back was another team to manage from the other side of the world, with the savings you projected spent on keeping it running.

The problem usually isn't the talent. It's that the work was not structured, and no one owned the result.

  • Customer-facing work is understaffed or handled inconsistently
  • Back-office tasks keep landing back on your senior team
  • You want more pipeline, but US sales headcount is expensive to add and to carry
  • A prior offshore attempt fell apart without structure or management

Three practices.
One operating standard.

Customer Experience

Consistent customer coverage, run to your standards.
  • Customer service and helpdesk
  • Sales and order support
  • Live chat, email, and voice
  • QA, coverage, and SLA reporting

Sales Growth

Pipeline capacity, without the cost of US sales headcount.
  • SDRs and appointment setting
  • Outbound prospecting and follow-up
  • List building and data enrichment
  • CRM hygiene and reporting

Finance & Operations

Back-office work off your team's plate, running on defined procedures.
  • Data management and entry
  • Bookkeeping, AR and AP
  • Order and document processing
  • Reporting and virtual ops
The standard

The core operating elements.

Every engagement runs on the same four. Together, they define the US operating standard.

01

Defined process

Documented and structured before staffing begins.

02

Measurable KPIs

Tracked against agreed metrics from day one.

03

Accountable delivery

Kordant owns performance, not just headcount.

04

Technology infrastructure

The right stack integrated before go-live.

Functional ownership

You measure the outcome.
We own the rest.

Management and accountability sit in the US. Delivery runs offshore, to the metrics we define. You see one result.

Technology, matched to your stack.
Or built on ours.

We bring the platform as well as the people. Integration specialists connect the tools so they work together and data flows between them.

Scoped accessControlled, scoped access to only the systems and data the work requires.

Continuity by designA stable, cross-trained team, so a departure won't reset the work.

Cost is the benefit, not the headline.

Offshore costs less. That is real, and we won't pretend otherwise. But lower cost is what a well-run function delivers, not the reason to build one. Less expensive labor that you have to supervise, correct, and continually re-train isn't a savings. It's a second job all over again. Build the function right, and the economics follow.

The savings are built in.
Never the headline.

Kordant was founded by Steve Margerin, an operator-level executive who has spent his career building, fixing, and scaling B2B operations, delivering double-digit revenue and profit growth through the unglamorous work of defining process, building infrastructure, and leading engaged, high-performing teams.

His career spans sales and operational turnarounds, distribution and fulfillment, and cross-border managed delivery for US clients. He has run the kind of structured, accountable operation that most offshore providers promise and few actually deliver.

That operating discipline is the foundation of how Kordant works.

Managed to perform.

The work is US-led. Account management and accountability for the outcome sit in the US. Delivery is operated by a dedicated Philippine operations management team with proven execution in customer-facing and back-office functions. Hiring, training, workforce management, and quality assurance are handled locally, to the standards we define and the metrics we report.

Jerome Turla

Head of Service Delivery & Quality
Manila, Philippines

Jerome leads service delivery and quality for the Philippine operations team, keeping engagements on schedule and accountable to the metrics each Kordant agreement defines. He owns the line between what a client expects and how the team delivers it.

He built his career in customer-facing operations run to international service standards, including an outsourced customer service team for a major international airline, and later cross-border program management for US clients. He is Lean Six Sigma certified, with an information-security background that shapes how the team handles client data. Based in Manila, the country's established BPO capital.

Head of Operations & Partner Relations
Cagayan de Oro, Philippines

Clint leads the Philippine operations team that runs delivery for Kordant engagements. His career has been built in outsourcing operations, most recently as Client Acquisitions Head and Operations Manager at Leverage Outsourcing, and earlier as co-owner and COO of an outsourcing services company. Having both won client relationships and run the delivery behind them, he sees an engagement from commitment through to daily execution.

A certified Lean Six Sigma practitioner with a degree in marketing management, he runs the work to defined process, staffing to coverage, and a measurable quality standard. He is based in Cagayan de Oro, a recognized Philippine IT-BPM hub.

Questions, answered.

How is Kordant different from a staffing agency or a traditional BPO?

We don't sell headcount. We build the function with defined process, KPIs, and management, then staff it and run it. You get a function that performs, not a team to manage.

Who manages the team day to day?

We do. Account management and accountability sit in the US, and a dedicated offshore operations team runs delivery to the metrics we define and report.

How do you handle timezone and communication?

Teams are staffed and scheduled to cover the needed hours. Our delivery teams operate 24/7 covering multiple time zones and extended hour needs. Account management is US-based.

How quickly can a function be up and running?

We map and document the function first, then build and staff it with the technology configured before go-live. We map a realistic timeline on the first call based on needs and complexity.

How does pricing work?

You get offshore economics for a managed function, priced around scope and outcome rather than raw seats. Depending on the function, pricing takes one of three forms: a monthly fee for the staffed function, per-interaction pricing tied to volume, or a fixed fee for defined projects. We will provide a clear read on costs and structure on the initial scoping call.

What if the function isn't performing?

We own performance, not just headcount. Every engagement runs against defined KPIs we track and report, so most issues surface early and get fixed before they reach your desk. You see the same numbers we do, with a written performance report at least monthly and a standing service review to keep the work on track.
